Remote monitoring for management of the machinery fleet efficiency

Abstract

The main goal of farmers is to make more efficient use of agricultural machinery and to get the same or even greater benefits at lower costs.Farm management systems help farms manage work processes. One of them, the telemetric or remote monitoring system, which offers a lot of possibilities. The productivity of a techniqueheavily depends on its optimal usage.The efficient and effective operation of the machine depends on many factors, one of the most important criteria being the selection of the right route in the field and on the road [1]. Driving strategy for shorter distances in the field or on the road allows work to be done in shorter terms, using less fuel, saving time on the same work, and perhaps even less soil compaction. The biggest challenge for large farms is managing the working time of agricultural machinery and staff.The management of all farm work can be facilitated by a telemetry system, otherwise known as a remote monitoring system for the machine or implement.This system continuously records and stores in the cloud data on all machines in progress. The accumulated database provides an opportunity to analyze and optimize farm work processes.Without leaving the office, the farmer has the opportunity to monitor many machine parameters, analyze the progress of work and offer options for the operators for machineoptimization.
