The congruence of employee and organizational values is important for coherence and stable work between members of the organization. Theoretically, the congruence of values creates an environment in which employees feel freer, their work becomes more productive, open or hidden conflicts between employees are avoided, and the company’s own performance becomes more profitable. However, when analyzing the congruence of values, it is important to understand the origins of the formation of personal values and how the values of the organization are established over time and what are the preconditions for their formation. Knowing these two factors, it is possible to analyze appropriate management tools that would contribute to increasing congruence in the organizational environment.
