Abstract (en)
A risk assessment procedure for Critical Infrastructure (CI) is presented in this paper. Proposed approach is based on the assessment of criticality of CI elements and groups of them (as consequence analysis) due to the loss of their functionality, and estimation of probabilities associated with these criticalities. Bayesian networks method was applied to estimate probabilities of unfunctionality of CI elements to capture the impact of various factors, which influence CI functionality. Implementation of the proposed approach is illustrated by pilot calculations for energy CI of Lithuania.
