Abstract

The aim of the research was to evaluate as well as compare different types of winter wheat’s resistance to fungal diseases of the leaves not spraying and spraying with fungicides. The experiment was conducted in AgroITC test station in Kaunas region, in Babtai natural infection background. The observation of the intensity of the fungal diseases was conducted using the percentage growth scale (1, 5, 10, 25, 50 ir 75 proc.). The intensity of the disease on the leaf’s area was visually rated by a percentage. In every field, 15 main stems of plants were selected by random out of different areas of the field. Four, three, two or one green leaves were examined separately and the intensity of the disease on the leaf’s area was rated. During the cropping stage of the plant until the end of flowering BBCH (30-69) Powdery mildew, Septoria blotch and Tan spot was evaluated while examining the plants leaves and visually determining every leaf’s diseases intensity by a percentage.
