Образование в Литве: возможности и угрозы в контексте становления информационного общества

Abstract

European union and Lithuania try to create an information society and competitive economy of knowledge. In Lithuania particular tasks are scheduled for reaching these goals. Special role comes for the development of science and education. But in Lihuania there are many problems and disproportion for creating information society. Preeminently it is not sufficient sponsorship of science. It has negative affects on the quality of teaching at universities. In scientific area there are many vacanat places, mostly for hight education specialists. Sponsorship for education is a little better, but there are big disproportions between schools in village areas and cities. In village areas information proceses develops a lot slower because of strait of some people. The poverty reduces wish to seak knowledge. All of this makes danger that Europen union strategy of Lisabon in Lithuania will not be implemented. To solve that problem it is possible by organising totalK new strategy for science and education where old govermental system must be changed. It's imperative that science and education should be underlying subjective ir country development.
