Straipsnyje nagrinėjami Lietuvos vyrų pranciškonų buvimas ir veikla Sovietų Sąjungos teritorijoje 1941–1991 m. Analizuojant publikuotus šaltinius, atliekama vienuolių veiklos istorinė-geografinė rekonstrukcija bei nustatoma tos veiklos tipologija. Tyrimo rezultatai jungiami išvadose, pristatomi lentelėmis ir žemėlapiu.

The article researches the existence and ministry of Franciscan friars in the territory of the Soviet Union during 1941–1991. In the light of printed sources, the historical – geographical view of ministry and its type is portrayed. The findings are reflected in the conclusion and portrayed in tables and map.
