The topic of research is relevant because pupil's motivation is an important thing for a teacher, it may be both goal and means to further pursue teaching goals. Thus it is important that pupils are motivated to learn and to regard learning positively. Motivation topic has been thoroughly researched by Lithuanian and foreign authors, however, there was no data found about the motivation factors of learning the subject of technologies, therefore it is possible to claim that the research of motivation factors of learning technologies is relevant. Research problem – insufficient motivation of pupils to learn the subject of technologies. Research object - motivation factors of learning technologies of 5–8 form pupils. Research goal – to analyze motivation factors of learning technologies of 5-8 form pupils. Research tasks: 1) to find out pupils' attitude towards the lessons of technologies; 2) to reveal 5-8 form pupils' motivation factors to learn the subject of technologies; 3) to determine teaching / learning methods promoting pupils' learning motivation in the lessons of technologies. Theoretical (analysis of scientific pedagogical and psychological literature) and empirical methods (group questionnaire, structured interview, expert evaluation method) were used to carry out the research. Having analyzed the research data it was found that a teacher influences pupils' motivation to learn technologies (teacher's praise after completing a task, understanding, sincerity, fair evaluation), good marks are also very important for pupils (76 percent). It was found that pupils like active learning methods most (group work, games).
