Muzikos dalyko mokymas bendrojo lavinimo mokykloje yra visapusiško asmenybės ugdymo dalis. Muzikos mokymo tikslas – ugdyti kūrybišką, aktyvią, emocingą, estetinei ir kultūrinei patirčiai atvirą asmenybę, gebančią prasmingai tenkinti savo kultūrinius poreikius. Straipsnyje siekiama išsiaiškinti muzikinio ugdymo kokybės tobulinimo prielaidas bendrojo lavinimo mokykloje. Nustatyta, kad formuojant teigiamą mokinių požiūrį į muzikos pamoką, patartina įdomiai pateikti teorinę medžiagą, naudoti aktyvius mokymo metodus, į pamokos eigą integruoti įdomias mokymo priemones.
For the time being, comprehensive school is the only link in the education system, which gives a common musical background for each Lithuanian child, teenager and youngster. Trying to research presumptions of improvement of musical education quality at comprehensive school, students and music teachers answered a questionnaire survey and an experiment was executed. The research showed that the opinion of students and music teachers about the priorities of proceeding forms in the lesson is the same. Singing, playing various musical instruments and presentation of interesting teaching material are the most interesting proceeding forms in the lesson. Listening and analyzing the music and solfeggio is less interesting proceeding forms. In the light of the results of the experimental research, it can be maintained that we can develop students' musical skills by choosing tasks which are interesting, active and stimulate creative skills. In that way students will better understand language of music, they will gain practical knowledge and skills, expand their musical erudition, they will be more self-reliance and also they will have positive attitude to the musical activities during the lessons.
