Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos problemos, kurias suponuoja bendrojo lavinimo mokyklose taikomos skirtingos mokinių vertinimo sistemos — vertinimas balais, pažymiais ir pasiekimų, individualios pažangos vertinimas. Pristatomi moksleivių tėvų ir pedagogų nuostatų į šias vertinimo sistemas tyrimo rezultatai.
The mark system of students’ learning assessment in primary classes was changed into the non-mark system of individual progress assessment. However, the theoretical and empirical facts show that this assessment system for students’ parents and teachers is not acceptable and not attractive. That is why the aim of this research is to find out the attitude of the respondents towards the mentioned assessment systems of students. The research was based on the attitude scale, which was constructed by the authors and tested by the method of experts. 150 parents of primary class students and 150 teachers have participated in the research. The results of the research show that the attitude by the majority of the respondents towards the mark system of students’ learning assessment is positive whereas the dominant attitude towards the non-mark system of individual progress assessment is neutral or negative. In addition, the similar tendencies are revealed while comparing the attitude of students’ parents and teachers towards the same analyzed aspects. It was discovered that the majority of respondents understand the effect of assessment system on the motivation of students’ learning; however, the effect on personal development is purely evaluated. Moreover, it was ascertained that the location, the background of parents and the experience of teachers have an impact on the attitude towards the assessment systems of students.
