Traditional educational approaches have become increasingly inadequate in preparing students for the complexities of the modern, technology-driven world. This study introduces the Question, Explore, Discover (QED) paradigm, an innovative framework designed to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into education, promoting a dynamic and inquiry-based learning experience. The QED paradigm is structured around three interconnected stages: questioning, exploring, and discovering. It begins with students forming inquisitive questions, using AI and other resources to explore these queries, and finally, synthesizing their discoveries. This methodology is not linear but cyclical, allowing for continuous engagement and deeper learning. AI tools are integrated at each stage, assisting in refining questions, facilitating exploration, and aiding in the synthesis of information. The primary objective of the QED paradigm is to foster learning where students actively engage in constructing knowledge. It aims to shift the educational focus from passive absorption of information to active inquiry, exploration, and discovery. The implementation of the QED paradigm promises a more engaged learning process, with students taking an active role in their educational journey. Preliminary findings suggest that this approach enhances fosters creativity, critical thinking, and improves problem-solving abilities among learners. The integration of AI in the learning process personalizes education, catering to individual learning styles and paces. The QED paradigm emphasizes active engagement, creativity, critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and the integration of AI to enhance the educational experience for personalized learning. This paradigm is a step towards redefining educational practices, making them more relevant, engaging, and effective for the modern world.
