Developing conceptions in education involves the use of strategies how to integrate knowledge, values and behaviour. The article deals with the functions of the school and the role of teacher in developing values. The technique values clarification is based on moral decision and free choice occur in the group learning situations. In these groups students explain, elaborate, defend their feelings toward man. Among various tipes ofvalues moral values as the background of the man development are emphasized. Many academic disciplines involve moral and should be used to develop moral values.
