Abstract (en)

The article presents the results of the test with two tractors having different transmission (cas-cade and continuously variable). The tractor was loaded with the same load and drove the paved road, in an attempt to get the engine speed and load. After test has been noticed that the tractor with continuously variable transmission was lower en-gine speed but higher load compared with a tractor barren cascade transmission.
