Abstract (en)
The article deals with the scientific problem related to the hypothetical presumption on the impact of cognitive and non-cognitive personality traits on the peculiarities of computer literacy in the system of higher education. The study was built on the following theoretical foundation - theoretical notions of the contemporary psychology on individual's cognitive and non-cognitive qualities as a prerequisite and a factor of education. The research on the students' computer literacy showed that personality's cognitive and non-cognitive traits in some measure really influence computer literacy although they are not a fatal (everything determining) factor.
