The experimental theatre, within the space occupied by mass culture, makes for one of the most significant carriers of interpersonal liaisons, which will not be replaced by even the most sophisticated medial technology making use of computer-aided processing of the picture (laser holography) or the most perfect digital technology. Young people perceive, in this kind of theatre, a possibility of expressing critique of the existing reality, which manifests itself in a spontaneous way and does not require their knowledge of techniques of conventional expression and accessories of the stage. The experimental thcatic is becoming a „school of life both tor its creators and receivers; what is more, the latter are given a chance to creatively participate in its artistic and social mission. The passion surrounding this theatre and involvement of its creators in all sorts of social problems change this peculiar „school of life” into a souicc of education, absorbing society-oriented attitudes based on clerical principles of independence, and cxpicssion ot criticism oi middle—class cultural habits propagated by vulgar mass culture.
