    Recently many studies have been devoted for understanding the nucleon-nucleon interaction and the atomic nuclei structure starting from quark models. The way for this problem solution selected by us is based on a nontraditional consideration of the confinement of valence quarks in cases when two, three or more nucleons approach each other and the corresponding confinement potentials come into contact and vanish. The overlap of wave-functions of valence quarks, trapped in different nucleons, causes correlations thus giving the possibility to understand the peculiarities of the nucleon-nucleon interaction and corresponding potential modifications in case, when interacting nucleons are present in atomic nucleus. The investigated systems of double-, triple- and larger number of confining harmonic oscillator wells opens new possibilities for recent realistic nucleon-nucleon potentials modifications taking into account the substructure of interacting nucleons. Nucleons entering the interaction area change due to the intrinsic structure modification. These changes are dependent on the presence of ”spectator” nucleons in vicinity of interacting ones. This observation can serve as alternative of three nucleon potential necessary for lightest nuclei description.

    The optimal superposition of the harmonic oscillator shell model configurations for the six nucleon nuclei ground state description is obtained. It has been shown that only one such superposition is possible. This result is in the complete accordance with the experimental observations stating that in the six nucleon system there is only one bound state.

    The understanding of the interaction between two nucleons remains a fundamental problem in nuclear physics. There has been done a huge work for exploring hadrons structure and properties, but it is still unclear how the nuclear forces arise from the fundamental quark-quark interactions. Starting from the common belief that quantum chromodynamics is the underlying theory of the strong interaction, one is entitled to demand that hadron physics has been formulated in terms of the basic quark degrees of freedom. Only in this way we will be able to describe the hadron structure and hadron-hadron interaction in consistent framework. Let us choose constituent quarks as the basic degrees of freedom. Using finite harmonic-oscillator potential wells we have constructed a potential, which satisfy all our needs: at low energies quarks must be trapped in nuclei and start interacting only at the high energies. The investigated systems of finite harmonic oscillator wells opens new possibilities for describing modifications of the recent realistic nucleon-nucleon potentials taking into account the substructure of interacting nucleons. The finite deepness of confining wells for constituent quarks causes significant correlations of quarks from interacting nucleons necessary to understand and describe in a simple manner the effects, well-known as the three- and may be four- nucleon potentials, necessary for more or less acceptable microscopic description of the atomic nuclei. The appearance of the system of two levels in double well potential instead of one level in the single well case, the lowest of whom is situated at a lower energy than in the single well, gives us the possibility to understand the under-binding of the lightest atomic nuclei, observable for all recent realistic potentials.     The usual nuclear shell model cannot predict values, close to experimental ones for binding energies and root-mean-square radii of six nucleons nuclei. In this report one present the recipe for these problems solution based on the translationally invariant description of atomic nuclei. Basic in our approach is expansion of wave-function in terms of complete basis of Reduced Hamiltonian (RH) eigenfunction.

    We investigate the dependence of these levels (energy eigenvalues of composed well potential) and corresponding eigenfunctions on distance between wells. When the distance between centers of wells is large enough (a≥5), the complete potential can be considered as two separated harmonic oscillator potentials, describing quarks in two independent (with not overlapping confining wells) nucleons. In such case there exists only one two fold degenerate energy level like in case of independent oscillator potential well. Comparing one and two harmonic oscillator potential wells it clearly seems, that in two wells the ground level is lower, than in the one separate HO well. This result demonstrates, how the nucleons can modify when they come in close contact.
