Ethnic choreography of the Prussian Lithuanians: regional singularity
Šios disertacijos tikslas – išanalizuoti lietuvininkų etninės choreografijos regioninius ypatumus ir nustatyti veiksnius, lėmusius jos savitumą bei ištirti lietuvininkų etninių šokių vietą nūdienos kultūroje.
The object of the thesis is ethnic choreography of the Prussian Lithuanians written on the territory of Minor Lithuania in XVII–XX centuries in regions of Klaipėda and Konigsberg (now Kaliningrad region). The term of ethnic choreography is used in the thesis in the broad sense, i.e. it refers not only to the dance in a circle or the game, but to the ritual movement and action. Dance and choreography of the Prussian Lithuanians, their ethnic and cultural expression, as well as Prussian Lithuanian ethnic and national examples of choreography performed by today‘s folk and ethnic artistic groups is analyzed here.
