Centro veiklos tikslas – vykdyti kompetencijų vystymo veiklas, grįstas moksliniais tyrimais ir inovacijomis, akademiniam ir neakademiniam personalui, įgyvendinant nuoseklią, darbuotojų poreikius atliepiančią kompetencijų vystymo sistemą Universitete. Taip pat palaikyti ir skatinti mokymosi visą gyvenimą principus. Centro uždaviniai: organizuoti profesinio tobulėjimo veiklas Universiteto akademinei ir neakademinei bendruomenei; teikti profesinio tobulėjimo paslaugas kitų aukštųjų mokyklų akademinei ir neakademinei bendruomenei; organizuoti, pagal poreikį, kitų tikslinių grupių profesinio tobulėjimo veiklas.

The Centre aims to carry out competence development activities based on research and innovation for academic and non-academic personnel, implementing a coherent competence development system at the University that meets the needs of employees. Also, to support and promote the principles of lifelong learning. Tasks of the Center: to organize professional development activities for the academic and non-academic community of the University; to provide professional development services to the academic and non-academic community of other higher education institutions; to organize professional development activities of other target groups as needed.
