Abstract: Darbo tikslas – suprojektuoti galimą specialiojo pedagogo veiklos modelį ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigoje, remiantis ugdytojų nuomone. Tyrimo metu buvo atliekami interviu su: specialiaisiais pedagogais, dirbančiais ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigose; tėvais, auginančiais specialiųjų poreikių turinčius vaikus, lankančius ikimokyklinę įstaigą; ikimokyklinio ugdymo pedagogais. Baigiamojo darbo interviu klausimai buvo patikrinti pilotiniu tyrimu. Buvo atliekamas kokybinis tyrimas (turinio analizė). Atliekant kokybinę turinio analizę buvo vadovaujamasi indukciniu požiūriu. Remiantis išnagrinėta moksline medžiaga (teorija) ir visų ugdytojų interviu analize (tyrimu), buvo pastebėta, kad specialiojo pedagogo veikla turi pasižymėti sėkmingai taikomais ugdymo metodais, profesionalumu, bendravimu ir bendradarbiavimu.
