Object and subject of research - practical skills of Ukrainian journalists working in the zone of military conflict. At the same time, the experience of Ukrainian media representatives who have covered such conflicts is the subject of research. The objective of the research - this work aims to provide all interested parties (journalists, correspondents, students) with quality practical information in the form of advice and guidance on the peculiarities and safety of Ukrainian media in the war zone in the east of Ukraine. Tasks of work - analysis of the relatively sufficient safe work of a representative of the Ukrainian media in the zone of military conflict, despite the presence of a great deal of risk in this area. Formulation of specialized and systematized suggestions to The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine for providing advice and guidance to domestic correspondents who cover the conduct of hostilities. On the relevance of this research, it is an attempt to gather the opinions of fellow journalists on their work, covering the problems and difficulties that Ukrainian journalists regularly face; find out how journalists see their role in reporting the conflict and related topics; identify their views and guidelines of their work in the context of the conflict; find out what editorial practices and standards for reporting of conflict-related topics are common in the Ukrainian media. Scientific novelty - in this paper, the general information is about the actions in the East of Ukraine, views of members of the armed forces. It highlights specific images of war participants and their views on the conflict. Namely, the views of members of the armed forces, residents of the occupied territories, and migrants will demonstrate the views of the media themselves. Practical significance - the reporting on the armed conflict through the blade of journalistic views. To reach the reader from the inside. How not only veiled views of what is happening, also create a reader's view of what is happening, based on the work of the media. Methodology - the primary method of conducting this research is the method of "deep focused interview". This work aims to provide domestic correspondents with quality practical information in the form of advice and guidance on the features and safety of Ukrainian media in the war zone.
