Abstract

In economic terms, the primary purpose of agricultural activities - to maximize revenue and profits. Revenue should ensure decent standard of living, they must be more prudent than the household subsistence expenditure. In Lithuania, like in other new EU countries, there are many small semi-subsistence farms, which are part of the goods produced for own consumption and selling of another. Lithuania, through the country and the European Union's financial resources, as well as to accelerate trying restructuring process. However, given the realities of today's economic situation, especially in hard times, some milk and cereal feed prices decreased significantly, to holdings by farmers more difficult to maintain an adequate level of income in the traditional agricultural production. So it is very important to study the evolution of farmers' farm income during the period and what led to the evolution of the future and they continue to successfully lifetime.
