Beržo sulos kiekių tyrimai buvo atlikti 2023 metais. Radviliškio miškuose buvo vertinama sulos išgavimo pagal medžio aukštį optimali išgrąža kamiene. Pagal pasaulio kryptis buvo matuojamas išgaunamas sulos kiekis kas 0,5 m iki 2 m aukščio. Atlikus tyrimus, nustatytas nuoseklus išgaunamos sulos kiekio mažėjimas, didėjant gręžinio aukščiui. Nustatant beržo kamiene optimalią vietą įgrąžai, padarant kuo mažesnę žalą medžiui, reikia išgauti sulą ne iš aukštesniame, kaip 0,5 m aukštyje. Beržo sulos kiekiui gręžinio orientacija pasaulio šalių atžvilgiu įtakos neturėjo.
The study on birch sap amount was carried out in 2023. In the forests of Radviliškis, the optimal amount of sap extraction in the trunk was evaluated according to the height of the extraction location. According to the directions of the world, the extractable amount of sap was measured every 0.5 m up to 2 m height. As a result of the research, a consistent decrease in the amount of extracted sap was determined with the increase in the height of the extraction location. When determining the optimal location for the sap extraction in the birch trunk, causing as little damage as possible to the tree, it is necessary to extract the sap from a height no higher than 0.5 m. The orientation of the extraction location according to orientation of the world direction did not affect the amount of birch sap.
