Abstract

Young farmers are the future of the agriculture that is why it is important to establish the factors which most influence the creation of new farmers. As most authors state, the main goal of farmers is the economic benefit, which is influenced by investments, production and environmental protection. These three shares are combined and in some cases they cannot separated due to the fact that each of them influence the economic behaviour of the new farmer. Having examined the scientific literature and formed the theoretical model of behaviour at the young farmer it has been found that interior factors such as finances and communication as well as exterior factors such as the possibility to sell production, the domestic politics and direct payments influence the young farmer. The assumption can be made that the most important of the above mentioned factors are the support which is received by the young farmer program from the „Establishment of Young Farmers“ and communication with parents‘ farm. These factors most affect their economic behaviour.
