Abstract (en)

The field experiment was conducted on Kurmaičiai agricultural company, Joniškis district, in 2017–2018. Soil: Calc(ar) Epicalcari – Endohypogleyic Cambisol, moderately heavy loam. Purpose of the research: to evaluate the effect of biological preparations on winter wheat productivity and quality indicators. Highest yields of winter wheat were determined in the control (9.1 t ha-1) treatment. Significantly lower (0.6– 0.3 t ha-1) winter wheat grain extra yields were obtained under the influence of biological stimulants, which were applied in the growing stages BBCH 25-26, BBCH 28-29, BBCH 30-32, BBCH 50-52. Biological stimulants significantly reduced the level of wet gluten content (0.5–0.6 %), compared to the control. It is likely that these results (yields and grain quality indices) may have been affected by double fungicide application in the control plots.
