Lithuania compared with foreign countries, the biggest threat appeared to creditors who have become insolvent due to lower income families, emigration, unemployment, health problems – all this had a strong impact on the economic crisis. Department of Statistics, Lithuania is about 161 thousand households that are taken loans from banks for house purchase, even more than a tenth of the time becomes unable to pay fees. They face the risk of bankruptcy. Developed and approved by the law of such a scheme, the banks have the right to take away housing and before the end of life require further pay money. Individuals in the form of bank credit, especially long-term, risk their property, liabilities to banks and their health. Lithuanian residents of a lack of economic and financial management knowledge and understanding of financial markets, financial institutions, particularly banks, economic credibility is not very high.
