32. Stigmella carpinella (Heinemann, 1862) (new to the Crimea). (Fig. 48). Host-plants. Carpinus betulus L. and C. orientalis Mill. in the Crimea (as in other regions). Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Submediterrnaean; the species occurs from Italy and Great Britain to Sweden, Greece and the western Caucasus (Georgia). Material examined.
