Abstract

Vida Maliene is a visiting Professor at the Department of Land Management and Geomatics, Faculty of Water and Land Management, Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) Agriculture Academy. Vida's research is under overarching Real Estate and Land Use Planning theme and focuses to such related topics as Housing, Urban Regeneration and Sustainable Communities, Land Management and Economics, Real Estate Markets and Valuation. Vida is an executive board member of European Academy of Land Use and Development (EALD), member of International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB), member of European Group of Operational Research and Chartered Property Valuer. She focuses her research in the areas of property valuation and taxation, urban and spatial planning, urban regeneration and sustainable communities, land management and economics. Vida has published more than hundred scientific publications including over 50 papers in peer-reviewed academic journals with high impact factor, three monographs, around 20 book chapters and several journal editorials. Her publications are highly cited worldwide, with total citations of 2949 and 1835 since 2018, her h-index-23 (i10-index-36) recorded in 2023.
