Rupšys, Petras

Abstract

Petras Rupšys was born on January 4, 1952, in Šilalė district, Lithuania. He graduated from secondary school at 18. Then he earned master degree in applied mathematics at Vilnius University, Lithuania, 1975 and Doctor science degree in probability theory and mathematical statistics at Vilnius University, Lithuania, 1982. Later, habilitation thesis in forestry was fulfilled in 2009 at Lithuanian University of Agriculture, Lithuania. Since 1979 he works at position of assistant professor, from 1986 – associate professor and from 2009 – full professor Aleksandras Stulginskis University (former Lithuanian University of Agriculture). Since 2019 – full professor at Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania.
