Abstract

Kristina Lekavičienė was born in Prienai in 1987. In 2009 she was granted the Bachelor’s diploma of Mechanical Engineering, in the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, at Lithuanian Agricultural University. In 2011 she was granted the qualification degree of Master of Mechanical Engineering, in the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Aleksandras Stulginskis University. From 2011 to 2015 she was PhD student in the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Aleksandras Stulginskis University. During her studies in 2013, she was an internship at Hohenheim University (Germany). In 2015, she defended her doctoral thesis “Research of strip tillage machine work parameters”. From 2015, she worked lecturer Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Safety at Aleksandras Stulginskis University. Now she works as an associate professor and senior researcher Department of Agricultural Engineering and Safety, Vytautas Magnus University, Agriculture Academy. K. Lekavičienė has published 39 scientific publications including 15 with a citation index. She has read about 15 scientific reports at international/national scientific conferences, more than half abroad. Co-author of 2 patents registered at the State Patent Office of the Republic of Lithuania. Co-author of the book chapter published by springer scientific publishing house. Co-author of the educational book "Application of the laws and methods of theoretical mechanics in engineering". She conducted 10 scientific projects, 3 of which she led. K. Lekavičienė participated in the defense councils of 3 PhD students' dissertations (Science field of Environmental Engineering). Reviewer-expert of articles submitted to Web of Science journals. She won the young scientist award for a collection of scientific works in 2015 (Aleksandras Stulginskis University) and in 2019 (Vytautas Magnus University).
