Indrė Bručienė was born in 1982 in Kaunas. In 2004, she graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the Lithuanian University of Agriculture with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and in 2006 she was awarded a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2019, she started her PhD studies in Technological Sciences in Environmental Engineering at Vytautas Magnus University, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Department of Agricultural Engineering and Safety. In 2019, she completed a fellowship at the University of Tartu, Estonia and Ghent University, Belgium. From 2021 works as a junior researcher at the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Safety, Faculty of Agriculture, Vytautas Magnus University. I. Bručienė has published 20 scientific publications, 9 of them with a citation index. She is the co-author of the chapter "Proximal sensing sensors for monitoring crop growth" in the book "Information and communication technologies for agriculture-theme i: sensors" published by Springer scientific publishing house. I. Bručienė has implemented 20 projects, 3 of which she led.
