Abstract

I am a Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Law of Vytautas Magnus University, where my expertise in constitutional, human rights and environmental law shapes my research and teaching. In 2024, I successfully defended my PhD thesis on human rights to drinking water and sanitation. From 2009 to 2023, my significant legal experience included roles within Lithuania’s judicial system, notably at the Supreme Administrative Court and the Constitutional Court, where I most recently served as the Head of the Division of Legal Research. I am also an author and co-author of various scholarly articles and legal opinions on environmental human rights, constitutional law, constitutional justice, and legal reforms. My role as a legal assistant at the European Parliament, which I began in 2024, further enables me to contribute to shaping legislative and policy frameworks on a European scale.
