Aplinkotyros katedra / Department of Environmental Sciences

Aplinkotyros katedra - tai studijų ir mokslo padalinys, kuriame ekologijos, aplinkosaugos ir tvarumo žinios dera su praktiniais tyrimais. Studentai gilina supratimą apie gamtos procesus ir žmogaus poveikį aplinkai, dalyvauja projektinėse veiklose bei tarptautinėse mobilumo programose. Studijos katedroje lavina analitinį mąstymą ir skatina aktyvų požiūrį sprendžiant aktualias aplinkos problemas, o absolventai yra pasirengę veikti tiek verslo, tiek viešojo sektoriaus srityse – nuo atliekų tvarkymo iki klimato politikos formavimo. Katedroje vykdomos programos: bakalauro studijų programa "Aplinkotyra ir aplinkos apsauga"; magistrantūros studijų programos "Aplinkosaugos organizavimas" ir "Industrinė ekologija".

Department of Environmental Studies is an academic and research unit where knowledge of ecology, environmental protection, and sustainability is combined with practical research. Students deepen their understanding of natural processes and human impact on the environment, participate in project activities, and engage in international collaborations. Studies at the department develop analytical thinking and encourage an active approach to solving current environmental challenges, while graduates are prepared to work in both the private and public sectors – from waste management to climate policy development. The Department of Environmental Sciences supervises the Bachelor’s study programme “Environmental Sciences and Protection” and the Master’s study programme “Environmental Management” and “Industrial Ecology”.
