On Thursday 10 April, 2.30 p.m., VMU hosted the Italian Day at the Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy (Gedimino Str. 44, Room 302): an event dedicated to the culture, beauty, language and lifestyle of Italy.

The organizers presented the photography exhibition by Davide Rabiti, which showcases Italian town Forli’s past and present. Forli is an important town to Lithuania because it is the location where the joint master degree study programme MIREES is organized: one of the first ones to be registered in Lithuania. The event also provide the opportunity to find out more about studies in Italy and possibly convince even those who did not plan to study there. VMU Assoc. Prof. Stefano M. Lanza shared his experience and knowledge about this marvelous country’s culture. The event culminated with students’ own impressions of life in Italy and the tasting of a heavenly delicious dessert.
