VMU Social Campaign is a Chance to Make Children’s Dreams Come True
On Friday 10 November, 11.30 a.m., the VMU Institute of Foreign Languages and the International Cooperation Department invite the university’s community to join the benefit project “The Fulfillment Campaign” (“Išsipildymo Akcija”) and take part in the social event “International Pie 2017” (“Tarptautinis Pyragas 2017”).
At the event, which will be held at the VMU multifunctional research and study centre (V. Putvinskio g. 23, 1st floor lobby), the VMU employees, lecturers, students and the university’s entire community will be tasting freshly baked pies, while all the funds collected during the social campaign will be donated to the foundation of “The Fulfillment Campaign”.
“International Pie 2017” invites the university’s employees, lecturers and students to bring pies that would reflect a cuisine they like or the traditions of their family, native region, or ethnicity. Along with the pies, the VMU community is also encouraged to share the various multilingual customs, cultures, and interests. The pies may have diverse flavours ranging from sweet to salty etc.
It feels good to be good: join “International Pie 2017” event and support its idea: “Small pie – great donation”.
“International Pie” is a part of “The Fulfillment Campaign”. It is an event where everyone is welcome to bake pies and share them with colleagues or friends, donating the funds collected from the pastries for the aim of making the children’s dreams come true.
