Sakharov Centennial celebrations in Vilnius will take place in May

Now that May is coming close and there is more clarity with regard to COVID-19 restrictions in the coming period, the Andrei Sakharov Research Center for Democratic Development at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), would like to inform you about planned activities within the framework of the Sakharov Centennial celebrations in Vilnius in May 2021.

According to the organizers of the event, those interested in participating in the events of the Sakharov Centennial celebrations which will take place on the 6–28th of May are already able to register on the official event website. All events will also be accessible virtually, either through live-streaming or in another format.

Organizers ensure that during the events all safety precautions will be implemented and both sanitation equipment and face masks will be available. In all cases registration is either obligatory or highly recommended.
