Lithuanian Emigration Institute Welcomed New Magazine

On 10 October, a new VMU publication titled “VMU – World Lithuanian University” was presented at the Lithuanian Emigration Institute.

The new magazine was introduced by its editor-in-chief Mykolas Drunga and its spiritus movens, VMU Vice-Rector for Public Communication Prof. Auksė Balčytienė.

The publication was welcomed and insights about VMU as a World Lithuanian University (WLU) were shared by the first rector of the re-established VMU Prof. Algirdas Avižienis, Director of the Lithuanian Emigration Institute, historian Prof. Egidijus Aleksandravičius, Director of the VMU International Office Zinaida Baltrėnienė and VMU Vice-Rector for Development Prof. Natalija Mažeikienė.

Activities of World Lithuanian University, a social project organised by VMU, were introduced by its coordinator Vaiva Ragauskaitė.
