Italian Atmosphere Pervaded a Festive Evening at VMU

This year, Italy is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its unification. On Thursday, March 17, the Centre of Foreign Languages at VMU provided an opportunity to rise to the occasion and pay respects to the country and the people of Italy, by gathering at K. Donelaičio g. 52, room 422. The atmosphere of the festivities was charged with authentic Italian spirit.

The Italian night was packed with events. Italian members of the VMU community, currently living in Kaunas, introduced the facts of this historical event and shared their jovial Italian mood with everyone. The overall tone of the festivities was supported by music. A quiz was also held, with prizes awarded to those who were the smartest and answered the most questions – they received books and Italian delicacies.
