Guest from USA Will Discuss Influence of Journalism on Human Rights

On Tuesday, March 15, 3 p.m., the Dept. of Public Communications at VMU will hold a public lecture and discussion given by American journalist Jonathan Rauch, titled "Looking for an Angle: Journalism & Stories".

The journalist will speak about his life and career, discuss the development of human rights and sexual minorities in the USA, the influence that the media has had on this process and how the media is forming the public opinion on the aforementioned issues, which are currently highly topical in both Lithuania and the USA.

The lecture-discussion will take place at room 101, S. Daukanto str. 28. The discussion will be moderated by Mykolas Drunga, lecturer at the VMU Dept. of Public Communications.
