Foreign Students are Introduced to Kaunas and VMU


On January 27, foreign students from universities in 16 countries, participating in the LLP/Erasmus exchange programme or bound by bilateral agreements, arrive to Vytautas Magnus University for Orientation Days for Incoming Students. The students will be provided an introduction to interesting places and rich cultural life of the city and the university.

The visiting 78 students from France, Italy, Turkey, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Greece, Spain, South Korea, Japan, the USA, Norway, Russia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic will spend six days getting acquainted with Vytautas Magnus University – its faculties, the library, other divisions, dorms, study system and opportunities – and the city of Kaunas. The students will be led by the mentors to various museums in Kaunas, watch a movie about Lithuania and get to know places for entertainment in Kaunas.
