Cultural Nights Return to VMU

The successful Cultural Nights project, launched by VMU International Office and international student organisation ESN VMU in autumn, continues in spring. Every Wednesday from February 22 till May 16, at 7 p.m. the RePublic bar (Laisvės al. 57) will become the place where everyone including VMU community and the university’s guests will have a glance at various cultures of the world.

The introductory evenings of different countries will, as usual, feature their songs, games, dances, food, etc. The participants of the autumn events already know what to expect: they remember the taste of tiramisu, Georgian dances, all the astounding customs, passionate salsa lessons, fun Korean games, snails and other unseen dishes, and – most importantly – the subverted stereotypes.

The organisers invite everyone to attend, promising to once again provide the opportunity to taste, see, hear, try, discover and get pleasantly surprised. This time the trip around the world will take off with a different motto – "The Puzzle of the World". Cultural Nights will allow people to get to know the countries they have visited even better, as well as discover the new ones, such as Indonesia and Argentina, which will offer plenty of excitement.

The International Office and ESN VMU invite the entire VMU community and university guests to spend Wednesday nights in a cosy place, getting familiar with foreign cultures. Do not hesitate to contribute to the puzzle of the world VMU is building during the spring semester!
