Ambassador of Norway Held Lecture at VMU

On Wednesday 26 March, 3 p.m., His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in the Republic of Lithuania Leif Arne Ulland held a lecture entitled Norway and the EU: Inside and Outside at the Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy (Gedimino St. 44, Room 202).

Norway does not belong to the European Union, but it does keep close ties with it as a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Public opinion polls have shown that most Norwegians would not agree to join the EU (70.8 % in 2013).
