dc.description.abstractThe main goal of this investigation was to evaluate resistance of Apera spica venti to different kind of herbicides action in several fields of winter wheat in Marijampolė and Šakiai districts. The samples of A. spica – venti seeds were taken at the ripening stage of Apera in the period of 2012–2013. Winter wheat fields were chosen according to compliance of farmers about low efficacy of herbicides. Herbicide efficacy was tested in the pot experiments. Four different actions of herbicides: ACC inhibitors, ALS inhibitors, photosystem II inhibitors and mitosis inhibitors were spray applied after the A. spica venti germination. According to methodology 21 day after herbicide application efficacy on A. spica venti plants was visually evaluated. The scale of efficacy evaluation was 0–100 percent: 0 – no effect on A.spica venti plants, 100 – all plants killed. Resistance on sulfonylurea herbicides was found in six Apera spica venti populations. Analysis of field data showed, that the determinative factors for herbicide resistance were: repeated usage of the same kind of active ingredient, minimal soil tillage and absence of crop rotationen
