Abstract: An efficient vehicle braking system is essential for safety during transport operations, but general opinion suggests that agricultural tractor and trailer braking systems are often given insufficient consideration, during subsequent use. In many instances, braking system specification and degree service maintenance is suspected to be inadequate for safe use behind tractors. To prevent overloading of the tractor's braking system, it is extremely important that the braking performance (efficiency) of a trailer / trailed appliance is similar or equal to that of the towing vehicle This article presents results of experimental research of braking efficiency of agricultural trailer and tractor
