Abstract: This paper presents 1,5 kW induction motor with single-layer former three-phase windi and the same motor was rewound with six-phase winding. Energy factors were evaluated for duction motors of three-phase and six-phase windings by comparing their created rotating m netomotive harmonics and results obtained from the calculation of the efficiency factor. The suits show that efficiency factor of single-layer former six-phase winding is 8,2 % higher compared to the same three-phase winding. Is evidence that rewound induction motor with single-Is former six-phase stator winding energy factors are better compared to this three-phase winding
