Abstract: The aim of this article is to investigate Echinacea purpurea herb and its individual components, moisture and weight change during the drying process. It was found that intensively developed moisture of dried stems and grass. Dry upper layers apparently started later than the bottom: the top layer of chopped stems after 6 hours, and the grass layer - after 13 hours.Thus, different parts of Echinacea purpurea material drying at different intensities and up to 13.5 - 14% moisture content were dried over 33-95 hours
