Abstract: The cutting of laminated composites by abrasive water jet was investigated. The Acii unating of materials was observed. Delaminating happens when these materials have insufficient adhesion between the layers. Cutting water jet can dissipate between the layers and a - se delaminating at a certain dep. This occurs when the water pressure is too high. The main is the beginning of the process especially cuts into the material. It was found out that tnt pressure to cut in was 80 MPa. Material delaminating was minimal. When 360 MPa water jet pressure was used, delaminating of glass fibre reinforced plastic was delaminated significantly
