Rola duszpasterstwa rodzin ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem realiów litewskichPublication[The role of family pastoral care taking in consideration Lithuanian realities]research articleSoter : religijos mokslo žurnalas, 2018, nr. 67(95), p. 9-19The teaching of the Church often emphasizes preparation for marriage and family and the importance of pastoral care in this area. Theologians and educationalists attempt to define what family pastoral care is, and the authors from different countries propose various definitions. In the narrow sense, family pastoral care is the activity of certain Church structures; in the broad sense, it aims at family goodness. In addition, a very important task of pastoral is the transformation of a family to “home Church.” Pope John Paul II emphasized the following: “Family, become what you are.” In order to implement this, consultations, knowledge, care of family and marriage, and any other caritative, social, and political support and initiatives are necessary.128 96 Kunigas Stanislovas Išora 1863 m. sukilime: istoriografinio vaizdinio korekcijosPublication[Priest Stanislovas Išora in the uprising of 1863: corrections of historiographic construct]research articleSoter : religijos mokslo žurnalas, 2018, nr. 67(95), p. 21-46Dabartinė Vilniaus Lukiškių aikštė vykstant ginkluotoms 1863 m. sukilimo kovoms Rusijos imperijos vietos valdžios sprendimu buvo tapusi vieta, kurioje vykdytos sukilėlių ir dalyvavimu sukilime apkaltintų asmenų egzekucijos. Vilniaus vyskupijos kunigas Stanislovas Išora tapo pirmąja auka. Sušaudytas 1863 m. gegužės 22 d. / birželio 3 d. Karo lauko teismo sprendimu, patvirtintu Vilniaus generalinio gubernatoriaus Michailo Muravjovo. Remiantis istoriografija ir pirminiais šaltiniais, straipsnyje rekonstruojama S. Išoros gyvenimo istorija. Publication[Pastoral activities of the Roman Catholic clergy in the legal acts of the Russian empire]research articleSoter : religijos mokslo žurnalas. Kaunas : Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas, 2018, T. 67 (95), p. 47-71The article analyses the legal acts of the Russian Empire throughout the period of its existence (1721–1917), published in the Complete Collection of Laws and in the Code of Laws on state regulation of pastoral activities of Roman Catholic priests. Retrospective evaluation of legal documents allows to determine some general tendencies of Russian laws on Catholic pastoral care: to allow, but only to selected priests; freely, but in certain places; not to allow to act among other Christians; to support partially, but strictly controlled.278 148 Moters konsultavimo būtinybė prieš nėštumo nutraukimą siekiant užtikrinti laisvo ir informuoto sutikimo sąlygąPublication[The requirement of consultation of women before termination of pregnancy seeking to ensure the condition of free and informed consent]research articleSoter : religijos mokslo žurnalas. Kaunas : Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas, 2018, T. 67(95), p. 73-85In Lithuania, the procedure for the termination of pregnancy, the majority of which is carried out according to woman’s will, is regulated by the equivocally assessed 1994 Order “On the Procedure for the Execution of a Pregnancy Termination” approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. The Law on Patients’ Rights and Compensation for Damages to Health (No. XI-499) states that consent to interventions may only be given by a person who has the capacity to express his will, who has received sufficient and clear information and is given in free will. In Lithuania, unlike in other European countries, there is no systematic help to a woman who is undergoing a crisis pregnancy and who is considering the choice of abortion. Therefore, the article poses a problematic issue: does a woman seeking abortion can properly express her will, i.e. is she really informed and guided by her free will.416 169 - other2018
