Abstract: Mathematical model of energy supply disturbances in network systems is presented. Markov chains and processes and probabilistic distributions were used in the work. Using the developed model, scenario simulation of probable energy disturbance consequences may be carried out, e.g. gas supply termination for half a year in Lithuania after Ignalina NPP unit 2 shutdown after the year 2009. Energy disturbances in the model are described in parameters of disturbance beginning, duration, etc. Disturbances - technical, economical, socio-political - caused by different reasons are analysed.[...]
