Abstract: Straipsnyje pristatomos sveikos mitybos ugdymo teorinės apraiškos. Analizuojami dokumentai, kurie reglamentuoja sveikos mitybos ugdymą ikimokyklinio bei bendrojo ugdymo įstaigose. Straipsnyje siekiama apžvelgti, kokie yra mitybos organizavimo ypatumai miesto mokyklose ir ikimokyklinio ugdymo institucijose
The article presents a healthy diet education theoretical manifestations. Analyzing the documents that govern healthy nutrition education in pre-school and general educational institutions. The article is to review the nutritional specific organization of the city’s schools and pre-school institutions. The study, by choosing the city general education institutions working in the catering staff working there and public health expertise. A quantitative survey. Survey respondents selected schools working in the catering staff and public health professionals. The results confirmed that the majority of educational institutions students are fed in school canteens while cooking. Most often cooking food follows the same menu prepared by making involved only part of public health professionals. Although part of the school canteen staff said to always cooperate with public health experts, however, agreed only a third of public health professionals. Catering services seek to provide high quality food products and raw materials are selected according to the quality and recommendations, at least influenced by price and product appearance. According to the respondents, all educational institutions canteens good conditions for pupils to dine. Only one-third of students are choosing only the second dish. According to the respondents, the main causes of students’ food choices, is the price and the taste, appearance dishes and portion size. It turned out that the promotion of healthy diets and obesity prevention is not sufficiently focused attention. A similar number of hours was devoted to smoking, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and physical activity promotion
