The Journal „Vocational training: Research and Reality“ is the peer reviewed scientific publication of Vytautas Magnus University with high reputation in national and international levels. It is published one time per year. The Journal is included in variety of International Data Bases. Vocational training here is understood as concept in broader sense and is concurrent with vocational teaching, learning and education. Research and reality means that research must reflect the contemporary realities in vocational training. The topic of ‘vocational training’ is concurrent with labour market, educational policy internationally and nationally. Findings of research in vocational training are the first step of information help in educational policy, when the change from unemployment to employability is pursued. The labour market permanently exposes new needs for skills, qualifications and competences then the research in vocational training is the first valid step by seeking for sustainable life, productivity and dignity.
