Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present pedagogical technology portfolio as practice of developing communication skills in the process of foreign language instruction, to present the structure of argument and practice of debates. The goals of pedagogical technology portfolio are to stimulate students' abilities to think, communicate and debate.Portfolio can serve as an instrument for evaluation on the basis of precise criteria both for the teacher and for the students as well as an instrument of self assessment for the student. The technology stimulates students to be more effective foreign language learners; it stimulates the development of reflexive thinking
